Setting Your Communication Preferences

Checking email is like panning for gold; most of the time you end up sifting through a bunch of rocks. It’s a tedious process, and emails often get lost due to sheer volume and daily business activity. To that end, we’re pleased to announce a new feature that allows you to control your communication preferences. You decide how you receive messages from WMSolutions.com, and how often you receive them.

Why did we do this? So you have to sift through fewer rocks before you find gold. We are optimistic these upgrades will help you better manage your inbox and improve your experience with Waste Management.

Profile Renewal Updates

Regulatory requirements dictate we must provide at least one formalized (email) communication before your profile expires. However, you can set profile renewal message preferences for 15, 30 or 60 days in advance of the expiration date. You can also control the timing of this email; you may accept all, some or one profile renewal notification.

The frequency with which you receive profile renewal messages can be adjusted in your Account Settings:

  1. Log in to your WMSolutions.com account
  2. Click your name to access your Account Settings
  3. Select the Communications tab
  4. Scroll down to the section titled Regulatory Communications
  5. Select your preferences using the toggles under ‘Email’

Your preferences can be applied:

  • To all your approved profiles of record, and
  • Extend to those ride-along passengers that receive copies of your renewal announcement (cc: email address)

Prefer Text Messages To Emails?

Waiting for profile approval or that contract addendum? Maybe you’d prefer to avoid email clutter altogether and receive a simple text message. Let us know how you’d like to receive communications. Email? Text? Both?

Opting in for text messages is easy:

  1. Log in to your WMSolutions.com account
  2. Click your name to access your Account Settings
  3. Select the Communications tab
  4. Add and verify your phone number
  5. Select your preferences using the toggles under ‘Text’ column
