• COVID-19 Update 3/31/2020: Effective April 1, 2020 Disposal Facilities in Michigan will implement the following practices to help prevent the spread of the virus, protect the health and safety of our employees and customers, and ensure continuity of services our customers expect, and rely upon.
• Distribution of Weight Scale tickets to drivers is temporarily suspended. Customers can access their tickets via WMSolutions.com. Scale teams can provide drivers pertinent information like ticket number and net weight over the intercom system.
• Use of the signature pads will be temporarily suspended. Driver’s printed name will appear on ticket instead of their actual signature.
• Acceptance of Non-Hazardous Manifest is temporarily suspended for all non-hazardous special waste. Driver should communicate profile number, manifest number (If Provided), and generator to scale over intercom system. Copies of scanned Non-Hazardous Manifests will not be available on WMSolutions.com during this time.
• Waste Shipment Records (RACM Loads), scrap tires, out of state/country and Liquid Industrial by-product shipping papers that are a regulatory requirement will continue to be asked for at the time of disposal. Employees should ensure the use of proper hygiene when handling paperwork. (Changes based on State of Disposal Facility)
• Credit Cards - Credit Cards will be shown through the window and not handed to the scale attendant. Scale attendant will manually enter the credit number in the system.
• PPE will not be loaned to customers. PPE can be purchased by the customer. Purchased PPE should not be returned.
