Additional Information

• The Lancaster Landfill is a double lined Construction & Demolition Debris landfill that was started in the early 1990’s. The facility is permitted by the Department of Environmental Protection to accept 1000 tons per day average and 1800 tons in any single day. The facility currently accepts 500 tons per day average. Construction and Demolition Debris is received for disposal, as well as cover soil material. At current volumes the facility has airspace to 2034.
• The facility is included in several County Solid Waste Plans and accepts waste from Advanced Disposal subsidiaries and third party companies, and accepts clean fill material from local contractors.
