• The Three Corners Regional Landfill Landfill (Three Corners) and Alabama Waste Disposal Solutions provide non-hazardous solid waste collection and disposal services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Three Corners is authorized by the state of Alabama to accept waste from 23 counties in Alabama, 5 counties in Tennessee and 24 counties in Georgia.
• Three Corners began operations in 1998 and is a landfill in compliance with EPA Subtitle D and the regulations of the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. The landfill is located in the southwest corner of Cherokee County on County Road 6.
• The sanitary landfill is located in mountainous terrain on a farm of approximately 467 acres. The area is sparsely populated and is surrounded by farms and forests.
• Three Corners can accept residential, commercial and industrial waste for disposal. Among the special waste accepted is asbestos, contaminated land, process waste, silt, among others.
• Alabama Waste Disposal Solutions provides collection service to more than 13,000 residential customers and more than 1,000 commercial and industrial clients in the different counties of the area.
